Take NWMO OUT of Métis Nation of Saskatchewan

As of today, a year has passed since the Métis Nation of Saskatchewan passed a resolution against nuclear waste storage & transportation, yet NWMO continues to engage with the Northern Métis Village of Pinehouse in site selection process for a nuclear waste repository.

The Committee for Generations demands that the Nuclear Waste Management Organization, Federal Government, Saskatchewan Government, Northern Métis Village of Pinehouse Administration and the Pinehouse-NWMO Community Liaison Committee abide by the Resolution passed by the Métis Nation of Saskatchewan on November 5th, 2011 and do everything in your power to immediately cease all site selection process with the Métis Village of Pinehouse and stop NWMO from entering site selection process with any other Métis community in Saskatchewan for the hosting of a nuclear waste repository.
