A Colonial Document: the Pinehouse agreement

“I cannot comment on the final text of the agreement, because I have not seen it.  The problem is, according to my latest information, neither has anyone in Pinehouse outside of a very small cluster of village politicians.  A document which does not have the prior informed consent of the community has no legitimacy.”
