August 30: ‘Stop Nuclear Waste’ Demonstration near Saskatoon!

Come out to the Grasswoods complex just south of Saskatoon this Friday to protest against the English River First Nation leadership’s participation in the siting process for a high level radioactive waste dump. Details below and on the facebook event page.

WHAT: Boycotting English River First Nation Service Station (Petro Canada)

WHERE: Junction of Highway 11 and Grasswoods road

WHEN: August 30th 2013 at 1:00pm-4:00pm

WHY: To demonstrate solidarity all peoples and let our voices be hear that a we stand together against the leadership that is vying to host a high level radioactive waste in Northern Saskatchewan.

HOW: Bring everyone you know young and old. Bring signs that express No Nuclear Waste. Bring lawn chair if you would like to sit.

AGENDA:
1:00pm-1:30pm: – Opening Prayer/Smudging – Speakers (TBA)
1:30pm-2:00pm: -Lunch
2:30pm-3:45pm – Rounddance/ Drumming and continuing of protesting and marching.
3:45pm – Closing Prayer
